Berry Bowl Sculpting Workshop, Thurs. 4/2, 6-8pm
Sculpt a bowl with handles that’s perfect for fresh berries! Add holes in the bottom to make it a colander for rinsing! Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught table side by our experienced potters with step by step instruction. Choose from textures and patterns to create your own design. We even have lettering stamps! Your piece will take time to dry. Then it will be fired in our kiln.
Admission includes a return visit after 2 weeks to paint your pottery in your own style with colorful pottery glazes.* Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after you painted it. Your piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Ages 8 and up.
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
*No charge for 1 return visit with no time limit during our business hours.
For a second return visit, there is a $12 charge.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
