Bumble Sculpting Workshop, Thurs. 12/18, 6-8pm
Sculpt our favorite abominable snowman, Bumble! He’s even holding the star for the top of the Christmas tree! Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught by our experienced potters with step by step instruction. Add your own details with lots of shapes and patterns to choose from. No experience needed! Your piece will take time to dry. Then we kiln-fire your pottery.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your Bumble with colorful pottery glazes (no additional cost and no appt. needed). Then it goes into the kiln for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 8 and up welcome, and star is included.
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
