Planter w/Dish Wheel Workshop, Weds. 6/5, 6-8pm
Create a large planter on the pottery wheel by hand! Your planter will use 3 pounds of clay, and will have a drainage dish attached at the bottom, and holes at the base of the planter. You will learn how to center 2 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry, and then be fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to glaze your planter in your choice of colors and design (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln one more time and will be ready 2 weeks after painting it. A beautiful piece to add to your home, inside or out! Ages 10 and up welcome.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
