Pottery Wheel Workshop, Tues. 5/21, 6-8pm
Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create a bowl, vase, cup, or planter with step by step instructions. No experience needed! You will learn how to center 2 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry, and then be fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your piece in your own style with colorful pottery glazes (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after you painted it. Your piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Ages 8 and up.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
