Spin Art Plate Wheel Workshop, Sun. 6/9, 12-2pm
The fun of throwing clay on the pottery wheel, and spin art painting all in one! You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. After creating your large plate, drizzle colorful glazes inside of it, and spin it fast to make a fun pattern. Step by step instruction by a professional potter, with your choice of 2 colors. Plates will be approximately 9 inches in diameter.
If you enjoyed our Spin Art Wheel Bowl Workshop with 2 pounds of clay, then you’ll love making a plate to match with 3 pounds of clay!
No need to return to glaze your piece. It will be fired twice in the kiln and ready for pickup in 3 weeks. Your plate will be oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe! Ages 10 and up welcome.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 12pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
